Hello, my name is Greg Roy. I am 44 years old and have lived in the Northeastern United States all my life. After graduating high school in 1982 I went on to college to study business. However, I dropped out during the first semester because I seemed to have a better understanding of business and economics than many of my professors.

After leaving college, I took a 3rd shift job to help raise capital to start my own construction firm. After 2 years, I quit that job and concentrated 100% of my money and efforts into building my business.

Unfortunately, during the downturn of 1990-1992 my business struggled. It was an extremely difficult time for me. I promised myself I would never become dependent on a single income stream ever again.  I knew I had to start taking advantage of my understanding of the market and economy.

From that point on I went to all the top business and investment seminars I could find. I met some outstanding speakers, many of which are the greatest economic minds on the planet. These seminars helped me get to know many of these men and women personally, and also helped me build a powerful contact list.

I’ve spent almost 20 years now developing my forecasting and investing skills. Last year I decided to give my partner my half of the construction firm because I am now that confident in my abilities to make highly profitable trades.

I’ve created StocksOnAlert™ to share my knowledge of the economy. I’ve seen good friends and family members struggle as the economy has gone sour. I’ve seen businesses close and people lose their homes. It is downright criminal what has happened to a large percentage of Americans, and I want to do what I can to help.

My goal for 2009 is to exceed the amazing gains I made last year. I sincerely hope you will, “help me, help you” and together we will all benefit in a life-changing way.
